Hon Williams Darko is clueless of happenings at Atwima Mponua Party office - Concern Youth rubbishes claims
Osei Kofi, convenor for concern Youth of Atwima Mponua NPP says sacking the District Chief Executive for Atwima Mponua, Honourable Williams Darko will bring a retrogression to the area.

The Concerned Youth of Atwima Mponua NPP has stated categorically that, the District Chief Executive for Atwima Mponua, Honourable Williams Darko has no idea about the incident which happened at Nyinahin NPP Atwima Mponua Constituency party office last Friday, 23rd April 2021.
Speaking to the media, the convenor for concern Youth of Atwima Mponua NPP, Osei Kofi stated that the Honourable DCE is clueless and has no idea about the said incident.
Osei Kofi has therefore implored all to ignore all publications in the media space which meant to destroy the DCE's hard-won reputation.
"The boys believe to have vandalised the party office are members of the New Patriotic Party since 2008 and have worked with the sitting MP till now," they said.
According to the group, the 2020 general election was too hard for the Member of Parliament, Isaac Kwame Asiamah to win but the efforts of the youth made it soft.
"The results are clearly shown, the MP vote declined from 11,000 to 2,600 between the NPP Parliamentary candidate Isaac Kwame Asiamah and NDC Parliamentary candidate, Stephen Yeboah," they reflected.
They said, the DCE performed extremely well in his first term and they believe will do even much better for the area if he is maintained.
"Changing Williams Yaw Darko will cause a delay in the progress of the area considering the service he has rendered to the District since his appointment" they added.
"He has done nothing wrong and has served the people well since he assumed office.
"His sacking will bring a retrogression to our area.
"The President must give him another four years and if he is not able to perform then we change him but now," Mponua youth said."
The group disclosed the DCE did not get things easier in his first term of office as according to them, he employed his resources at Court when Ibrahim Mahama the brother of former President, John Dramani Mahama took Nyinahin bauxite to the supreme court.
They explained that Honourable Williams Darko (DCE), Honourable Simon Osei Mensah (Regional Minister) and Member of Parliament, Isaac Kwame Asiamah, won the case and the bauxite has begun creating more jobs for the youth in Atwima Mponua.
They added that Yaw Williams Darko (DCE) has completed most of the abandoned projects under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) since he took the office and together with the Member of Parliament, he has connected electricity to about 97% of 124 communities in the Atwima Mponua District, towns like Nkwasiatan, Kojofodoukrom, Kakatri, Aboabo Kalongo, Kasotie, Oboasikrom, Manukrom, etc.
He has also made provision of mechanized and manual borehole for the people.
Aside from that, he also lobbied for CHIP compounds which have been built to help people to get access to quality healthcare,
They told that through him and his 'workaholic' MP, though Atwima Mponua is now part of the 88 District Assemblies.
