Hidden Details In Black Sherif's Cover Art

Young Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has got the internet shaking as his new hit song "Kweku the Traveler" has become the most talked-about music this week. Just minutes after the song's release, it managed to rank number one on the trending tab on YouTube.

One aspect of artists and their music that people often overlook is their Album or music cover art. Musicians often choose a cover art that best represents their current state or how they want the music to be received.

The 'Kweku the Traveler' song has unique cover art. I will thus attempt to break it down so it's better understood by fans.

In the cover art, Black Sherif is spotted in a Fetal Position with his hands clasped above his head.

The fetal position originates from the fetus or babies when they are in the womb of their mothers. This is a position that is best for the safety of the child as it's a safety mechanism against external impacts.

However, adults sometimes assume this stance or posture usually when they are sad or have been through some traumatic experience. The fetal stance is a way through which one can console oneself.

Black Sherif also asserted in the song that he made bad decisions at the begging of his career which has caused him to miss out on a lot of money.

He goes on to state that that would however not put him down as he was born mainly for the music game.

About a month ago news about Black Sherif signing bad contracts leaked to the public. Now Sherif has also admitted that those bad decisions led to massive losses. Black Sherif is thus encouraging himself.

The handclasp of Black Sherif could be a gesture of prayer during his moment of weakness in the music industry.
