Accra Hearts of Oak have reportedly barred Kuami Eugene from performing at the Accra Sports Stadium in their ‘Super Clash’ game against Asante Kotoko on Sunday.

The team turned down the offer to allow the reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Award's 'Artiste of the Year' perform because they know he is a staunch fan of their sworn rivals that they're about to take on.

The Deputy PRO of Hearts of Oak's National Chapters Committee, Mr Ishmael Yussif confidently discouraged fans from expecting a performance from the superstar at the game.

Per the Ghanaguardian, he maintained that there will be no appearance from an ally of the Asante Kotoko.

"You can call it 'sportstainment' or whatever but let me assure Hearts fans that Kuami Eugene will not perform at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

"He can go and entertain his Kotoko people like he has been doing but not during their home match." He maintained.

Kuami Eugene had previously been slated to perform at the Accra Sports Stadium by Adonko Next Level, sponsors of both Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko as a means of promotion but the Phobians have vowed to not allow an outspoken supporter of their rivals to perform at their home game.

The artiste has been an outspoken supporter of the Porcupines over the years and has made no secret of his love for the team.

He had even performed for the team last season after they defeated the Phobians in the truncated Premier League season.

This has obviously lead to some bad blood on the part of the phobians.
