Health workers At Potsin Polyclinic Appeals For Beds
The Heakllthworkers at the Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region says the lack of beds is affecting Accident And Emergency Delivery Effectively.

Staff and Health Workers at the Gomoa Potsin Polyclinic in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region have appealed to Authorities, Philanthropists and Benevolent Organizations to consider coming to their aid to resolve their lack of beds situation to deliver quality healthcare for residents in the community.
Speaking to the Medical Superintendent at the Facility, Doctor Jerry Koku Vlad, revealed that the Polyclinic which stands big in terms of Healthcare delivery in the whole District by serving about 100,000 people can only boast of 17 Beds.
According to him, the facility has enough space to accommodate more but due to the Scarcity of beds, the rooms are there are of no use.
He bemoaned the pressure they go through daily when Emergency and Accident cases are brought revealing that since they are rightly located in an Accident Prone Area as far as the Kasoa - Winneba - Cape Coast Highway is a concern, quality services are always lacking as a result of the challenges.
He has however appealed to Authorities, Philanthropists and NGO's to consider supporting them with Beds and other medical equipment that can enhance health care delivery at their facility.
