Former Chelsea player, Cesc Fabregas believes Jose Mourinho’s system of play specifically demands certain players to utilize its accomplishment.

According to the Spanish International, the Tottenham Hotspurs manager has been very impactful in his career as a footballer more than any other manager he has worked with.

"He has a system that works very well and he only wants specific players for that system," he said.

Speaking in an interview with retired Manchester United defender, Rio Ferdinand, Fabregas opened up that the Portuguese works more on player's psychological which motivates and boosts one’s confidence ahead of every game.

Jose Mourinho during his time at Chelsea in 2014 won the Premier League title with Cesc Fabregas who then joined the Blues after his spell at the Camp Nou came to an end after failing to impress the more.

In the 2014/15 campaign of the PL, Mourinho earned a third League Cup triumph with Chelsea after a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium. A third Premier League title was then secured following a 1-0 victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday 3 May 2015.

Fabregas spoke that he fell for the words of the former Madrid manager when he defined his unique qualities and convinced him to join Chelsea to conquer England.

"He called me and said 'I only need two players, I will sign Diego Costa and for sure, if you come with me then we'll be champions," Fabregas added.

"When I was with Mourinho, I realized that he was the coach who best managed my head.

"One day we were on a streak in the league and I got a message from Mourinho, I thought it was to say we were playing well, but it turned out he was telling us all that we had been awful in the last match."

Mourinho’s first campaign at Stamford Bridge in 2004/05 saw Chelsea win their first top-flight title for 50 years with a record haul of 95 points.

They retained the Premier League crown a year later and won the FA Cup and the League Cup twice with Mourinho in charge.

Mourinho returned to England ahead of the 2013/14 Premier League season for a second spell with Chelsea after three years of managing Real Madrid in Spain.

In his first season back at Stamford Bridge, he guided the Blues to third place, four points away from title winners Manchester City before winning the PL following season.
