New Pensions Act has come to worsen the plights of workers and pensioners.

The Branch Chairman of Chiraa Pensioners Association of Ghana in the Sunyani West Municipality Mr. Krobea Asante-Krang has revealed that the new Pensions Act has come to worsen the plights of workers and pensioners.
He has therefore called it illegal for pensioners to be short changed because of the introduction of a new pensions act.
Mr. Krobea said this in an interview with the media personal after he led the Chiraa local branch of Pensioners Association to donate Ghc1000 to the Compassion Is Love in Action (CILIA) orphanage home at Yawhima near Sunyani.
He therefore advised workers to prioritize their pension during active work to enable them depend on themselves after work.
He advised workers to avoid over relient on their pensions and rather make a proper planning for their future lives.
Madam Vida Osei Mensah, In charge of Compassion Is Love In Action (CILIA) orphanage home expressed content to the kind gesture towards the home.
She made a passionate appeal to the general public to help support to take a care of over 50 children at the home.
