Governor Soludo's Day 1 In Office: Visits Okpoko, Upper Iweka, Others

In keeping with his promise to set off his administration from Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area, Governor Chukwuma Soludo today, visited the urban settlement, Upper Iweka and various locations in Onitsha to perform on-the-spot assessment in his urban renewal objective.

Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has landed in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state.

Okpoko is a suburb in Anambra State.

Soludo, who arrived at about 10 am on Friday, March 18, 2022, went around various areas inspecting the level of work to be carried out as part of his first assignments as governor.

The governor, who has sounded it during his campaign and inaugural address, said his administration will kickstart his work in Okpoko.

He expressed dissatisfaction with the level of decadence in Okpoko, promises to begin work immediately.

Traders, who displayed their wares on the roads, on sighting the convoy of the governor, started removing their goods, so as not to annoy the governor.

Meanwhile, Soludo is being expected to visit the St. Lwanga Catholic Church, where various Okpoko community leaders are waiting for him. The governor is expected to address them and round off his visit and address the community.

He is also expected to unfold his agenda for the community during his address.
