The infrastructure deficit has been a major hindrance to the development of tertiary institutions in the country.

Speaking to the media on the issue, Senior Lecturer, Professor K.B Omane-Antwi called on the government to support the management of the private Universities to sustain while providing a conducive environment for teaching and learning to prevail.

He noted a siren lecture hall, wiring of Wi-Fi services and provision of ultra-modern libraries support and laboratories in campuses of public Universities must be extended to private Universities to help the students and Lecturers conduct better and quality research work.

He made these remarks during the inauguration of 15 member Governing Council Board of KAAF University College at Fetteh Kakraba in the Gomoa East District of Central Region, as Chairman to steer affairs to improve the academic performance of the college within three years period.

He, therefore, urged the government to salvage the job oriented Universities that can render services for the ready market and help in building the nation.
