Government Must Complete Abandoned Toilet facilities Project At Adaklu SHS Now!
Thousands of concerned citizens of Adaklu in the Volta Region have called on the central government through the Coastal Development Authority (CODA) to put in place contingency measures to complete the construction of toilet facility at Adaklu Senior High School.

According to the spokesperson for the citizens of Adaklu, Mr Christopher Galenkui, this toilet facility which commenced two years ago is abandoned.

He complained that the blocks have started falling apart and the worst of all, the contractors nor the consultant are no where to be found.
"As a citizen, citizen not a spectator, I am appealing to the ruling government to as a matter of urgency do something about this halted toilet facility at the Adaklu SHS , this will improve sanitation in the school since life without a decent toilet facility is dirty, dangerous and undignified," he appealed.

"It was a great joy when the NPP led government commenced the construction of toilet facility at Adaklu senior high school in the Volta region of the republic of Ghana some two years ago.
"In fulfilment of Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG6), on clean water and sanitation, it requires access to adequate and equitable sanitation and hygiene for all, and an end to open defecation.
"It saddens my heart today just to realize that, it is just one of the usual deeds of the NPP to start initiatives and projects haphazardly," he stated.
