Gospel Triumphs: Diana Hamilton Wins VGMA’s Artiste of The Year Award
In what was a shocking turn of events, Gospel Artiste Diana Hamilton, bags the VGMA Artiste of The Year Award ahead of all of her secular contemporaries

Diana Hamilton is the Artist of the Year for the 22nd edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The gospel artiste defied expectations by winning the awards in a category she was not even in pole position to win.
The likes of KiDi, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie and Adina were all being tipped to win the award but Diana Hamilton has been adjudged the winner in the most prestigious category of the awards scheme.
She didn't stop there, Diana Hamilton also won the Gospel Song of the Year as well as the Gospel Artiste of the Year beating out stiff competition in that category too.
Diana Hamilton is now the first female gospel musician to win the Artiste of the Year Award at the VGMA while also being the first female artist to win both the Artiste of the Year award and the Gospel Artiste of the Year award at the same time.
