Chiefs and People of Kyiren on Monday, April 12, 2021, have demonstrated against the people of Gomoa Fawomaye in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region.
According to the protestors, Chief Superintendent Robert Kobii from Gomoa Kyiren in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region has allegedly exhumed and bolted with over 10 dead bodies from the Gomoa Fawomaye Cemetery.
The Odzikro of Gomoa Kyiren, Nana Osaberima Bondam Adu Antsenyi has called on the chief of Gomoa Fawomaye to apologize and provide a sheep to purify the land because the Gomoa Fawomaye chief has dishonoured the Gomoa Kyiren Community.
The chief of Gomoa Kyiren continued that the chief Superintendent, Robert Kobii does not hail from Gomoa Kyiren and is not known by residents of the village.
He told that "we want to tell the people of Fawomanye and their chief that they know Robert Kobii very well and they should look for him in their own community."

Speaking to the media the Odzikro of Gomoa Kyiren Nana Osabarima Bondam Adu Antsenyi said we the chiefs and elders of Gomoa Kyiren wish to state categorically and emphatically that there is no one called Robert Kobil who is police superintendent in the community.
We want to tell the peoples of Fawomanye and their Chief that they know Robert Kobil very and they should look for him in his own community.

On Thursday, 8th April 2021, the chiefs and the people of Gomoa Fawomaya organised a press conference against a police officer called Chief Superintendent Robert Kobii for grading their cemetery and exhumed 10 dead bodies which were buried for some years.
At a Press Conference organized by the angry Chiefs and residents of Gomoa Fawomaye in the Gomoa West where the incident took place, the Odikro of the area Nana Okofo Kwakye Abeka Acquah III indicated that the police officer who is not from their community but come from Gomoa Kyiren.
