Gomoa Dominase Health Centre Is In Deplorable State And Lacks Equipment -Traditional Ruler Appeals To Akufo-Addo
The traditional Ruler for Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, Okogyedom Nana Sarfo Kantanka Atta IX, has bemoaned over the deplorable nature of the Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHIPS) compounds at the Gomoa Dominate which was adversely affecting the delivery of quality primary health to the people in the area.

The traditional Ruler for Gomoa Dominase in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region, Okogyedom Nana Sarfo Kantanka Atta IX, has bemoaned over the deplorable nature of the Community-Based Health Planning and Services (CHIPS) compounds at the Gomoa Dominate which was adversely affecting the delivery of quality primary health to the people in the area.
According to the chief of the area, their health-providing center which serves over six communities is currently in a deplorable state and needs immediate attention from the Ministry of Health.
He pointed out that the Gomoa Dominase is a farming community with a population of over 4,000 inhabitants in the Gomoa East District of the central region but access to good health delivery is reported to be a major challenge over the years.
Nana Sarfo Kantanka bemoaned that, the structure of the health center has turned white elephant.
"This is simply because the roofing has been deteriorated and seriously leaking whilst they also lack medical equipment and washroom facility.
In a visit to the Gomoa Dominate Tuesday, June 28, 2021, the traditional ruler appealed to the government through the ministry of health the factor into consideration to fix the above-mentioned challenges in the area.
In an interview with Soireenews.com, the Assembly Member for Dominase Electoral Area, Mr. Mussloni Kwasi Bennie explained that he has taken note of the above-mentioned challenges and reported to the Gomoa East District Assembly since 2020 but has yielded no results.
