Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has tasked New Patriotic Party members in the Bantama constituency to employ the Jesus's Great Commission mandate in the upcoming election on December 7, 2020.

According to him, Bantama must garner 95 per cent of votes than the previous and that can only be achieved if constituents move from house to house to testify of the good works of their parliamentary candidate to the people.

“I urge you all to go and make disciples of all nations in the Bantama Constituency. We want to win big at here and so we want 95 per cent of the votes cast, more than the previous. Go into houses, speak of the good works of Asenso Boakye and that of the NPP to everyone."

Kennedy Agyapong defined that Hon. Asenso Boakye, the Deputy Chief of Staff and Political Assistant to His Excellency Nana Akufo Addo aids in coordinating, communicating and overseeing policy development for the president; a direct involvement of the government's policies for Ghana's progress, therefore, his interest in running as Parliamentary candidate in the Bantama constituency would better the constituency considering his implementations earlier which has taken roots and uplifted lives in Bantama.

“The good governance of president Akufo Addo has Asenso Boakye playing a key role as the deputy chief of staff. He is directly involved in the president's policy composition and is such a respectful man, so go and speak good of Asenso Boakye to the people. As you vote for Nana Addo, vote also for Asenso,” he added.

The Assin Central MP was part of the Bantama Big Walk event on Saturday, October 31, 2020. He took the opportunity to rebuke certain words made by the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Mahama and informed the thousands staunch party supporters who gathered at the Kumasi Center for National Culture not to be swayed by political talks of the NDC.

“President Akufo Addo always believes in equality for all, not for the rich that is why he first implemented the Free Senior High School.  There is no better legacy than education,” he said.

“Today, all the African countries are here to learn how the president has been able to successfully work that out and it’s a plus for Ghana and the NPP government.

“I have heard Mahama say he will improve the initiative when he is voted by Ghanaians. I am telling you, he has nothing good for you. He was the same person that denied the execution of the free SHS. Now, he is talking about making it better. He has no message so do not give listen to his words,” he ended.
