Globe TV, a Television station in Techiman, the Bono East capital, has launched its maiden reality show dubbed, Globe TV Be Alive Reality Show.

The reality show, which is aimed at combing the entire country in search of musical talents is being produced by Globe TV and the OYB media production.

Addressing the media at the launch, the Programs Director of Globe TV, Nana Takyi Nyansaboakwa, said the show will be in two editions, the regional and national contests.

He said the regional contest will kick off this coming Saturday, 19th June 2021 at Techiman starting from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with 24 contestants from four zones within the Bono East region i.e Kintampo, Nkoranza, Atebubu and Techiman.

Nana Takyi revealed that the program will run for a period of three months where five out of the twenty-four contestants is expecting the ultimate in the grand finale.

"The first runner-Up and second runner-Up will get  2,000 plus recording deal and 1,000 plus recording deal respectively.

He further said judges score in the program will constitute 60% while voting will take 40% of the vote count.

The champion, first and second runner-Ups from each region will be slated for the National contents.
