Ghanaians Transport Operators  Angry Over Akufo-Addo’Deafening’ Silence On Collapse Of Their Business
Ghanaian transport business operators have expressed anger over President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's deafening silence on the collapse of their transport business in the country.
They complained bitterly that their transport businesses are collapsing under the current national administration led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo but the President looks unconcerned.
Addressing a press conference in Accra today Monday, June 27, 2022, the National Chairman Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana
(C-DAG), Mr. Paa Willie noted that the current hardship they are experiencing now under the leadership of Mr. Akufo-Addo and his NPP is becoming unbearable.
They cried out that "Our business is collapsing, we always have to go the extra mile in other to sometimes meet our dally sales.
"It is also very important to note that, the rampant accident on our roads is due to hardship and pressure from the thus mismanaged economy. We call on every single Ghanaian to join this demonstration for a better tomorrow," they stressed.
They made these statements to declare their stance that on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, the members of the Concern Drivers Association of Ghana will join the demonstration with their colleagues from the commercial road transport operators association, national spare parts dealers association, and national okada riders association of Ghana to bring to express their displeasure.

They stressed that "We the above union will like to remind the government of his promises he made to drivers when he was campaigning in 2016.
"The then-candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo promised drivers better conditions but not this hardship and sorry state we find ourselves in," they added.
