Ghanaian musicians are set to come together to record a song about the deadly Coronavirus, in an attempt to use their large fan bases to educate Ghanaian about the Coronavirus.

The song, Ghanaian legend and music producer, Bessa Simon's is an act of contribution by artistes in the fight against the CODID-19. 

He said that the song will sensitize people around the country about the deadly Coronavirus which is rampaging through countries at almost unchecked speeds.

"A song to fight Coronavirus is in the pipeline. As musicians, we influence society through music. We have done that in the past and we can speak of events such as peaceful elections, among others. We are preparing and very soon we will contribute,” he said.

He, however, urged musicians to develop themselves by working on how they write their songs and also practice more with their instrumentals in this time as they stay home due to Coronavirus.

The list of musicians set to collaborate is not officially out yet, but with all celeb touting all hands on deck to fight against the spread of the virus in Ghana, it is sure to be star studded. 

The likes of Shatta Wale, King Promise, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Kwesi Arthur's, e.t.c set to feature and to use their respective indigenous languages to help educate their indigenous fans.
