Ghana Police Warns Against Any “George Floyd Demonstrations” in the Country

The Ghana Police Service has admonished citizens against any intended demonstration against the United States and the treatment of George Floyd in the country.

A statement from the Ghana Police said security officials have not been duly notified about any such demonstration, despite calls for demonstrators grow on social media.

The statement advised citizens to avoid participating in any such demonstration, mentioning that restrictions on public gatherings are still in force.
