Ghanaian artiste Ranaya Pappoe, much known as Shatana has said the rise of Homosexuals in Ghana is directly linked to the rapid surge of cases of the coronavirus in the country. 

She claims that most of the other diseases have come and gone without setting foot on Ghanaian soil, but the COVID-19 has come to Ghana as punishment for the increase in number of gay people on it's soil. 

She stressed how although God is averse to all forms of sexual immorality, that the practice of homosexuality really infuriates God more than the others acts, claiming that mankind now takes pleasure In committing all forms of atrocities and immoral acts to satisfy its own pleasures.

As proof for her claim, she sighted the case of the calamity that befell Sodom and Gomorrah in the days before Christ, adding that the only solution to the Coronavirus is for Ghanaians to stop practicing the abominable acts of unrighteousness. 

"Sincerely, gays and lesbians in Ghana are the cause of Ghana’s predicament. Before their activities became popular in the country, we were not experiencing this mysterious diseases, but look at us now…..

“We have incurred the wrath of God just like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. Believe me our only solution is for the gays and lesbians in Ghana to stop practicing their immoral acts,” the artiste wrote on her Facebook page.

Ghana has recorded 136 confirmed cases of coronavirus including 3 fatalities and one recovery as of March 27, 2020.
