Ga State Boils As Kwabenya Queenmother Accuses Gbese Mantse For Fueling Ga Mantse Stool Chieftaincy Dispute
According to the queenmother, it is the fact that Nii Ayi Bonte II who doubles as Adontehene of the Ga State is causing the unnecessary tension and confusion by way peddling lies in the relation to the ongoing Ga Mantse chieftaincy dispute.

The Queenmother of Kwabenya TraditionalAreain Accra, Naa Korkoi DUGBATEY ii, together with traditional leaders from the area, has accused the Gbese Mantse, Nii Ayi Bonte II of fueling the ongoing chieftaincy dispute surrounding the rightful occupant to the Ga Mantse Stool.
According to the queenmother, it is the fact that Nii Ayi Bonte II who doubles as Adontehene of the Ga State is causing the unnecessary tension and confusion by way peddling lies in the relation to the ongoing Ga Mantse chieftaincy dispute.
"If Nii Ayi Bonte II thinks is the rightful Adontehene of the Ga State it is important for him to put corrective measures in place to bring peace and unity in the Ga State but not to be spewing lies like what he has been to bring confusion and trouble in the Ga State," she warned.
She asked that "Where is Nii Boni Tackie Adama Latse before King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II has been installed by the Principal Kingmaker of Ga Paramount Royal Stool, Nii Dr Tetteh Kwei II for the past eight years now, who is ruling the people of Ga State.
Addressing a crowded press conference in Kwabenya, Naa Korkoi Dugbatey II reaffirmed King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as the legitimate Ga Mantse, urging stakeholders and the general public to disregard any attempts to undermine his authority.
“The Ga State must stand united. King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II is the only rightful occupant of the Ga Mantse Stool, and any efforts to sow discord will not be tolerated,” she declared.
She warned Nii Ayi Bonte II to stop his continous behaviour of attacking the integrity King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as Ga Mantse or else he would incurred her wrath.
This latest development adds another layer of tension to the already complex and long-standing chieftaincy wrangle within the Ga Traditional Council.
