In a short ceremony to hand over the office at Anyaa, the MCE commended the effort of the officers of the National Fire Service for their hard work in the Municipality to help bring fire disasters under control.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Officer of Ga Central Municipal Assembly of the Greater Accra Region, Honourable Bashiru Mohammed Kamara has handed over a new fire service station to the Ghana National Fire Service(GNFS).

In a short ceremony to hand over the office at Anyaa, the MCE commended the effort of the officers of the National Fire Service for their hard work in the Municipality to help bring fire disasters under control.

Receiving the keys on behalf of the officers, the Director of Logistics, DCFO Heroine Boakye thank the MCE for building the new edifice to support the operations of the Ghana National Fire Service in the Municipality and pledged their readiness to help fight fire whenever they are called in their jurisdiction and even beyond.

Among the people who were present at the ceremony were the Greater Accra 2nd in Command of Ghana NationalFire Service, DO1 Naome Ofori Adubea, Weija Divisional Commander of Ghana National Fire Service DO1 Isaac Saah, Anyaa Police Commander in Charge of Operations, ASP Asare Donkor and the Municipal Assembly Members, Works Engineer, Mr Frederick Sackey and others.
