Fulani Herdsman stabbed to death at Oti Region
Suspect Hosani Miami, 20 has been arrested at his hideout in the bushes of Odomeabra with wounds on his leg and was escorted to Kwamekrom Health Centre by Police for treatment.

A Fulani herdsman was allegedly stabbed to death by a fellow Fulani On Saturday 24/07/2021 at Odomeabra a suburb of Kwamekrom in the Oti Region.
The same day, an Elder of Odomeabra village accompanied by two others reported to Kwamekrom Police that they received information from a 15-year-old son of the deceased Rugah Abubakari, 60 that his father has been attacked and stabbed by Hosani Miami a.k.a Huseini Mumuni, 20.
The complainant indicated that they proceeded to the scene and found victim Rugah Abubakari lying in a pool of blood unconscious before rushing him to Hohoe Government Hospital for treatment.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), John Nchor, the Public Affairs Officer of the Oti Regional Police Command confirmed the incident and narrated that the case was reported to the Kwamekrom Police the same day the crime happened.

Police together with the complainants proceeded to the scene of the crime and recovered a rope and a sharp knife with bloodstains on them.
Police investigations revealed, victim Rugah Abubakari was sleeping at his Kraal when he saw suspect Hosani Miami, a known suspected thief with the said rope allegedly trying to steal one of his animals.
In a bid to arrest the suspect a struggle ensued and in the process suspect, Miami allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen.
Police extended the investigation to the Hohoe Government Hospital where victim Abubakari was met responding to treatment but died whilst on admission.

On Monday 26th of July, 2021 the accused Hosani Miami a.k.a Huseini Mumuni was provisional charged with three offences and put before the Kpando Magistrate Court presided over by Her Worship Miss Beatrice Love Elimons.
The Court remanded the accused Hosani Miami into police custody to reappear on 2/8/2021.
