A young farmer has been butchered by a Fulani Herdsman on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Gomoa Potsin in the Central Region of Ghana.

The young farmer; Samuel Frimpong popularly known as Kwaku Frimpong does construction for a living and owes a cassava farm at his place of stay.

According to him, whiles he was away on an errand, cows guided by a Fulani herdsman stormed his farm and destroyed his cassava crops, as they fed on many of them.

When he went to the farm to check for himself upon hearing the information, he saw the animals eating his crops and an attempt to send the animals away led to an attack on his life.

“My brother told me about the assailants in my farm and how they threatened him with a cutlass on the first day. When I was informed, I decided to go to the farm this morning to see it for myself," he narrated.

“I witnessed the incident and called on the guards to come and see what the animals have done. He hit me with a cutlass and a knife.

“Some people who heard my lament came to my rescue.

He revealed that the Fulani guy has been arrested following a medical report.
