Four Year old Boy Abducted by Lady in Hijab at Nkawkaw 

The Police of Nkawkaw Municipality in the Eastern Region, Ghana, are in search of a woman who purportedly abducted a four-year-old boy identified as Muhammad Mansur at Nkawkaw Ifradullah Islamic preparatory school. 

Sources gathered from the school authorities, indicates that the unidentified woman who was in a hijab, entered the school compound and disguised herself to have been sent by the child’s parent to pick him home.

The headmaster became suspicious of the woman and questioned her identity. After further explanation by the woman, the headmaster told that he was satisfied and allowed her to take the child and his four other siblings home.

“We had closed from school around 12 midday when this woman came and started calling the children, I asked her about her identity because I didn’t know her and it was her first time to the school to pick these children. Then she told me she’s a sister to the children’s mother,” he stated.

The headmaster opined that “she had covered her face with the Hijjab but she removed it and I could see her face well. So, I allowed her to pick the children because anytime we close, different people come for them. I became satisfied with what she told me and I agreed she take them home".

The suspect is believed to have hurriedly bolted with Mansur Mohammed, leaving the rest of the children to go home by themselves. The other four, according to their father reported the incident to him on their arrival.
 
The father of the child,  Mohammed Abdul said, he lodged a formal complaint about his missing child subsequently to the Nkawkaw police who visited the crime scene to carry on investigations.

He is appealing to the general public to help him find the whereabouts of his 4-year-old son.
