Fixthecountry to defy police direction to hold 3-day picketing.

Convenors of FixTheCountry have indicated their resolve to protest despite a police directive restraining them.

The leaders who had earlier written to the police administration that it intends to provide its security because it does not trust the police say the police statement denying them the offer will not wash.

Though the group says they will not picket at the Flagstaff House, they will be picketing at the Achimota Forest for 3 days from June 10th- 12th.
Key among the reasons for the picketing include the E-levy, Agyapa deal, police impunity, etc.

Addressing a news conference one of the convenors for FixTheCountry Okatakyei Afrifa-Mensah said they will not relent on their effort at making Ghana work again

The press conference which was themed:police violence and the extrajudicial killing brought some affected persons by police brutality to share their ordeal.
