The Chief of Bibiani Divisional Area in the Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality of the Western North Region, Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II, has indicated his outfit readiness and commitment to support the newly-confirmed Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Mr. Paul Andoh to perform his tasks and mandates effectively to bring the needed social and infrastructure development to the municipality.

Mr.Andoh who was appointed by President Akufo Addo as the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) was confirmed by Assembly Members as new MCE for Bibiani Municipal Assembly on May 4, 2023.
The Municipal Assembly has a total of 52 Assembly Members made up of 36 elected and 15 appointed members were present at the confirmation ceremony at the Municipal Assembly Hall in Bibiani.
The nominee polled 35 Yes votes and 15 No votes with one rejected vote to secure a two-thirds majority of valid ballots cast by the Assembly Members.

The election was conducted and supervised on the 4th of May 2023 by the Western North Regional Deputy Electoral Commission Officer, Mr. Francis Osei Nsiah and observed by the Western North Regional Minister, Mr. Joojo Rocky Obeng and Member of Parliament (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency, Mr. Alfred Obeng-Boateng.
Mr Andoh has replaced Alfred Amoah, who died in a motor accident in July, last year.
The former Bibiani-Anhwiaso MCE killed in accident. Mr Amoah was returning to his municipality after an official meeting of all metropolitan, municipal and district chief executives (MMDCEs) at the Jubilee House.

However, speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com to congratulate Mr.Andoh  for his appointment,Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II was full of support for the new MCE and tabled some issues of community important for him to tackle.
According to the Bibiani chief,the Assembly is completely dead and that the new MCE has some hard tasks to perform to revive the Assembly again to its good standard.
"The new MCE have numerous tasks ahead of him because the Assembly was absolutely dead, dead, dead, and confronted with numerous problems and challenges. And now that he has been appointed by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, although he hasn't come officially to greet me, but l know he would come, but until he comes, l telling him [the new MCE] that his number one priority is to devise contingent measures to fix the dead street light bulbs in the Bibiani township because the township is completely dark.
"The entire Bibiani township has no street lights now. The Bibiani is the municipal capital city of Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly but it is too dark, the bulbs of the various street lights within the township were dead.
"The solar powers are there we need them to make the Bibiani township a wealthy of living and with that l am appealing to the MCE that we all pay the street lights bill charged by the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), so we should also enjoy street lights in the Bibiani. 
"For my second demand from the MCE is to ensure that that he brings the needed development to the Bibiani enclave," the chief appealed
He indicated that although he has short times of two years to run the administrative affairs of the Assembly he can easily excel when he works with collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
The chief indicated his readiness and commitment to give his total support to the MCE to excel by working to the expectations of the constituents.
He stated that entire people in the municipality were happy when he was appointed by the President.
He noted that it was even the members and supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who approved and confirmed his appointment to work as the substantiative MCE of the area.
He warned that the new MCE should not come with that nepotism.
"No! That should not be his mind but rather he should avoid all those thinkings because it is saying that he who comes with the equity comes with a clean hand," the chief advised the MCE 
Our new MCE now being appointed and confirmed as the MCE for Bibiani and that not the MCE for NPP. 
He noted that he should now know that he is the political father of all constituents and that he should do his works devoid of politics.
Following this development, the chief stressed that they are appealing to the MCE to be up and doing to bring the needed development to the area.
He said the MCE should be unifier who should separate them, stressing that they have given him 100% supported to deliver his tasks.
"I am encouraging you that whatever problems you may confronted with in discharging of your duties, you should be bold to approach me to tell me and that l and my kinsmen would do whatever possible to help you address those problems," Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II told the new MCE.
He stressed that they would not let the new MCE down saying that they are fully behind him.
