Fear Grips Assin Nyankomase Over Robber attacked Mobile Money Vendor
The development followed when a 27-Year-old me, mobile money vendor, Mr. Akwesi Baah has been having hospitalized after an armed robber attacked and injured his head and hand with a pistol.

Fear and anxiety have gripped the residents of
Assin Nyankomase, the farming Area in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region.
The development followed when a 27-Year-old mobile money vendor, Mr. Akwesi Baah has been hospitalized after an armed robber attacked and injured his head and hand with a pistol.
The information available to Soireenews.com indicates that the vendor was attacked on his way going home after he has closed from work on Monday, February 14, 2022 evening around 8:30 PM.
According to the eyewitnesses accounts, the robber had covered his face with a mask and was wielding a gun before meting out an attack on the victim.
The victim struggled with the robber when he attempted to whisk away his bag containing the money but the robber overpowered him and hit his head and the right hand with the pistol and made away with an undisclosed amount.
However, in the audio which has the Soireenews.com, the eyewitness who is the man was overheard saying that the victim together with his friends was at the shop and he informed them that he is going home.
Following this development, he said the victim closed down his shop and went home.
"All of the sudden we don't know what had happened to him and he quickly run and come out and we saw that there is blood oozing from him and a certain woman selling flying yam asked him what happened to him.
And quickly he told her that someone shot him with a gun and struggled to take his bag containing his monies but he resisted.
"So he (the victim) planned that he is running away and since his attacker doesn't want him to ran away and leave him, the thug gave gun warning shots to scare him and that since he was not ready to give out his bag to him, he shot him," the eyewitness said in the audio.
Another eyewitness in the video also noted that the place the incident occurred was not far from the victim's house.
According to him, after the victim was attacked they saw him and rushed him to the hospital for medical treatment
In the audio, the voice of the lady was also heard stating that they were in the house when they overhead of two gunshots and someone came to inform them that an armed robber had attacked their brother at his shop.
"So when we rushed to the shop we saw that one of his clients together with keys dropped in front of his mobile transfer shop. We were told that the robber also wore nose marks which covered their face and runway," she noted.
She pointed out that they informed that the victim was rushed to the hospital after he was attacked by the robbers.
She said they rushed to the hospital they saw the forehead of the victim injured and that the nurses told them that they they are taking care of him for the meantime before they would allow them to see him.
She also confirmed that the armed robberies have taken away the bag of the victim containing the money.
