Extend developmental projects to rural communities- NGO’s told
Jaman North District Chief Imam visits Miss Linda Nyarko Yeboah

The Chief Executive officer for Abronoma Foundation, Miss Linda Nyarko Yeboah known as Nyarko Abronoma has pleaded with other Non-Governmental Organizations in the country to consider their support for individuals and institutions in the rural areas.

According to her, though there are a number of NGO’s in the country, however their target during their activities has always being limited to cities, denying the rural communities of their share.

However, she noted that the greater part of this assistance is required in the villages and so Non-Governmental Organisations(NGOs) must reconsider their decisions to support the development of these rural communities.

She made this assertion when the Jaman North District Chief Imam Alhaji Seidu Adams and his elders visited her to express their appreciation for the donation made to them during the Ramadan fasting.

On his part, Mr Mahmud Traoure who is the Jaman North Nasara Coordinator stated that Islam is one of the recognised religion in the world hence the Muslim youth must desist from all social vices.

He explained that the Youth within Zongo communities are always considered as the cause of crimes and other violence’s that erupt in the country, therefore the Muslim youth should support the development of the country instead of wasting their energy on unnecessary violent activities.
