Eritrea cautions Sudan over foreign 'meddling
It is thought that Eritrea is supporting initiatives aimed at resolving Sudan's political crisis, which has persisted since the October 2021 coup.

Isaias Afwerki, the president of Eritrea, advised Sudan to avoid "meddling" from abroad and to resolve its issues on its own, according to a report on Monday from the official television (ERi-TV).
President Isaias made the remarks while speaking with Mohamed Hamdan "Hemeti" Dagolo, the deputy leader of Sudan's governing Transitional Sovereign Council, during his one-day visit to Asmara.
Additionally, the president urged the Sudanese troops to stay out of politics.
