EPA to clamp down on noise-makers in Atebubu/Amantin
The Environmental Protection Agency in the Atebubu/Amantin Municipal has cautioned evangelists to desist from activities that promote noise in the area.

The Municipal Director of Atebubu/Amantin Environmental Protection Agency, Mrs Jamilatu Yaro, has cautioned noise-makers, particularly evangelists in the municipality and drinking spots to desist from activities that promote noise pollution in the area.
She explained that her outfit had adopted measures to curtail the level of noise pollution in the municipality and this had become necessary as the level of noise pollution had worsened despite series of education.
Speaking at a meeting with the Atebubu Local council of Churches on the way to curb noise pollution in the municipality, the director cautioned that the Agency would not hesitate to get culprits arrested.
The council gave assurance members would ensure strict adherence to the directive.
