Enyiresi Traditional Council Refutes Allegations that Krobos Have Been Banned From Their Lands.
Speaking to the Enyiresi Mawerehene, Nana Asante Korea on behalf of the chief of Enyiresi said, the Kronos have turned the lands given to them by the chiefs to settle into galamsey activities to destroy their lands and water bodies with galamseyers.

The Chief of Akyem Enyiresi in the Eastern Region, Osabarima Kyei Kantanka has put sanctions on the Krobo people living in the Akyem Enyiresi lands.
The sanctions he has placed on the people is that he doesn't want to see Krobos bury their dead bodies in the Enyiresi town, and also they should pack their things and leave the Enyiresi township.

According to the chiefs, the Krobos living on their lands want to put the laws into their hands and have released some of the Enyiresi stool lands without the notice and the knowledge of the Enyiresi chief to galamseyers.
The chief explained that, because of what the Krobo people have done, they were summoned to appear before the Enyiresi palace for discussion but they have refused to appear as well as the office of Okyenhene Amoatia Ofori Panin palace at Kyebi which they refuse to honor the invitation hence the Enyiresihene has put all that sanctions on the people to prevent them from occupying their lands.
