The Ahafo Regional Chairman of Sand, Stone Suppliers Association, Nana Appiagyei Emmanuel A.K.A Wadada assured that the leadership will ensure all laws governing mining will be adhered.

The Ghana National Association of Sand, Stone workers and Tipper Trucks Users have stated that it is very necessary to organize training workshops such as educational, managerial and upliftment of members.

The workshops, according to the Association will ensure effective monitoring of Sand and Stone mining activities in Ghana leading to less environmental degradation and improve government taxes and revenue.

The National Chairman of Sand, Stone Workers and Tipper Trucks Users, Mr Peter Kwame Donkor told Soireenews Sulley Dramani in Goaso at the Inauguration of its Ahafo Regional branch.

The Ahafo Regional Chairman of Sand, Stone Suppliers Association, Nana Appiagyei Emmanuel A.K.A Wadada said the leadership will ensure that all laws governing mining will abide by.

The Deputy Ahafo Regional Police Commander, ACP Andrews Boadu- Ekumah, cautioned the tipper truck drivers to drive with care on the road and also ensure that faulty trucks are not abandoned on the road to avoid accidents.
