Election 2020: Mahama begins tour of Upper East Region

The flagbearer of the opposition NDC, John Mahama will today, November 23 commence his campaign tour of the Upper East Region, in a bid to win power, come December 7.

The former President arrived in the Upper East regional capital, Bolgatanga, on Sunday to begin a three-day campaign tour of the region.

This follows his campaign tour of the Ashanti Region which ended on Sunday.

While on the tour, Mahama is expected to meet with traditional rulers, opinion leaders, organised labour , supporters, members and activists of the NDC. He will hold a number of community engagements and address durbars.

He will also highlight his plan to create jobs, implement Free Primary Healthcare, roll out Free Technical and Vocational Education and Training (Free T-VET) and state-sponsored National Apprenticeship Programme.

Mr Mahama will end his campaign tour of the Upper East Region on Tuesday.
