Elect competent Party Officers to help Break the 8yrs Phenomenon

The New Patriotic Party's National Organizer hopeful, Mr Armstrong Agyei Kwakye, known in the political realm as 'Satchmo' says the party need competent persons to occupy the organizer and other portfolios ahead of the 2024 elections.

According to him, he illustrates the competency qualities hence he would be the best bet for the National organiser position for the party.

"A person that is loyal to the party’s cause, a person that can unify, a person that is industrious and resourceful, one that is reliable and a person that is solid and again with innovative ideas. These qualities must not be lacking on such individuals," he said.

He charged the electoral college of the party at the various levels to be conscious when electing occupants for the various leadership positions.

Mr Armstrong assured his readiness to work closely with other executives of the party when elected to make the party break the eight years governance phenomenon.

As the New Patriotic Party is preparing to reconstitute the party with respect to various leadership positions from the polling station level to the national level, many aspirants have come fore with the declaration of intentions of contesting.

The struggle as always has become intense with some threading on grounds of festering the cohesion within the New Patriotic Party. The party has experienced similar events that birthed unpleasantly and regretting ramifications and at least history must advise and guide us. An institution that fights itself is tantamount to a city without walls and as such, can never prosper in any cause.

It is in that regard that, the electoral college of the New Patriotic Party at various levels should be conscious in electing occupants for the various leadership positions. A  person that is loyal to the party’s cause, a person that can unify, a person that is industrious and resourceful, one that is reliable and a person that is solid and again with innovative ideas. These qualities must not be lacking in such individuals. 

Armstrong Agyei Kwakye known by many as Satchmo hopes to occupy the National Organiser office of the party and work with other colleague executives of the party to make the party break the eight years governance phenomenon under this 4th Republic. He is an illustration of all the requisite qualities mentioned above and undoubtedly a competent person for the job. 

Satchmo joined the NPP in the then Manhyia Constituency in 1993 and he subsequently got selected for the first-ever polling station agents training programme in 1995. He went on to become a polling agent for the party in the 1996 and 2000 elections, respectively. And in 2004 he returned from abroad to be a polling agent again in the same Manhyia Constituency in Ashanti Region. 

He is a member of the U.K branch and Manhyia South Constituency, respectively. He has held leadership positions from primary school to the university level as a class prefect, assistant school prefect, and student leader in both Ghana and the United Kingdom. 

He founded The Entrepreneurs Corner, a professional platform for corporate professionals and some owners of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ghana, and Kwabre Professionals Club; an association established to champion the socio-economic development of the Kwabre enclave of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. 

Armstrong is a Techpreneur of good standing and his ideas and opinions are respected by his peers in his trade and he has gained many years of experience and expertise in Information Technology, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Project Management, Business Analysis, Digitization, and Recruitment as an analyst, manager and/or founder, spanning both the United Kingdom and Ghana and he can bring it to bear on the National Organiser position when voted for. 

Therefore, against the backdrop of the many complaints the grassroots has been making in the recent past, he believes he can help change the hearts and minds of the grassroots with his drive, fresh ideas, can-do attitude, and confidence for the election ahead of us in 2024.
