Ekow Panyin Okeyer Central Regional Minister Writes
We discussed ways to formalize apprenticeships through proficiency testing, enabling young people to seamlessly transition into the job market.

Earlier today, I met with Engr. Dr. Eric Kofi Adzroe, Director General of TVET Services, to explore opportunities for enhancing skill training in the Central Region.
Our focus was on leveraging technical institutions in the region to provide youth with market-relevant skills, thereby increasing their employability.
We discussed ways to formalize apprenticeships through proficiency testing, enabling young people to seamlessly transition into the job market.
I'm encouraged by the Director General's assurance of support for this initiative, which has the potential to drive economic growth, reduce unemployment, and empower our youth to contribute meaningfully to the region's development.
I'm committed to working closely with TVET Services and our local technical institutions to bring this vision to life.
Special thanks to the heads of Briwa and Asuanse Technical Institutes for joining me on this visit.
Together, we can create a brighter future for our youth in the Central Region!
