Ejura shooting probe: I saw Kaaka's brother dragging his body - Tenants testify
Sadia Fuseini admitted she was frightened to tell the police because she thought Baba Idi will come after her hoping for the recovery of Kaaka but it was unfortunate he met his untimely death.

A husband and wife who were tenants with Kaaka have told the Committee that they saw Baba Idi who is Kaaka’s brother, dragging Kaaka’s body to their bathroom behind their house the day the deceased was attacked.
According to Sadia Fuseini, she was in her room praying when she heard Kaaka motorbike approaching their house and on witnessing what happened, she was disbelieved to see Kaaka’s brother in that situation.
“On that Friday night, I was in the room performing ablution to offer my prayer. So I heard the sound of Kaaka’s motorbike coming towards the house.
“Till suddenly I hear.. pan. I thought it was the motorbike which has fallen down so I stopped whatever I was doing and relaxed to observe whatever follows,” Sadia Fuseini told.
“Till suddenly I heard somebody yawning. So I came out to see whatever it is. My Lord, when I came out, I saw Kaaka’s elder brother, pulling him (the attacked Kaaka) to the darkness towards the bathroom. At that place too there was light but suddenly the light was off. So I rushed to knock at the door of Kaaka’s wife, Saada. After knocking at the door of Kaka’s wife, and turned back and I saw Baaba Idi having left his brother and had turned away, going out.
“I have a friend too who is also a neighbour when she heard me shouting and knocking and calling Saada to come out, she also came out and when she was coming, she met Baaba Idi on the road.
Sadia Fuseini told that she was frightened to tell the police because she thought Baba Idi will come after her hoping for the recovery of Kaaka but it was unfortunate he met his untimely death.
“Because Baaba Idi is the brother of Kaaka, I was afraid to mention this to anybody. So that was why I was reluctant,” she told.
“So I was just praying that Kaaka will recover and see it himself that it was his brother who caused the harm to himself. Suddenly Kaka could not recover and passed on. So prior to that, I have called and informed my husband and narrated everything to him.
“So my husband suggested that since Kaaka could not recover and died, we have to let the cat out of the bag. We went to the Police station and reported the matter to the Police and Baaba Idi was subsequently arrested.”
