Potential parliamentary hopeful on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Lower West Akim Constituency of the Central Region, Mr. Owen Kwame Frimpong popularly known as Darling Boy, has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls within the constituency on the occasion of the 2023 Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of this year’s Ramadan.
The famous young Ghanaian entrepreneur also congratulated the Muslim faithfuls for the successful completion of the 1444/2023 Ramadan, in which he said lessons must have been learnt, saying that "unity of purpose for development is my hallmark."
Reflecting on the significance of the just concluded Ramadan fasting, the NDC parliamentary hopeful stated that Muslims should internalize the lessons and good habits that usually come with the religious practice.
Following this development, Darling Boy minced no words when he called on Muslims living in the various villages and towns within the constituency to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to pray for the constituency and the country as well.
According to Mr Frimpong, the periods like this calls for sober reflection and unity from all citizens irrespective of their religious beliefs.
“Lower West Akim constituency is the only constituency we can call ours, hence the citizens, especially Muslims at this time, must work together and pray assiduously for continuous peaceful coexistence among the people," young Ghanaian entrepreneur stressed.
According to him, one of the lessons learnt during the holy month of Ramadan was that of compassion and care for the needy.
He urged Muslims to continue to be their brother’s keeper as enjoined by Allah through the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
