Edem and Foodtech Ghana have collaborated to provide relief materials to Lekma and Police hospitals in an attempt to alleviate the burden the Coronavirus pandemic has place on the government.

The hospitals are part of the facilities dedicated to caring for Coronavirus patients, as they have been turned into isolation centres on the back of the outbreak. Edem and his team provided relief materials for the hospitals in Accra on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

The rapper stated that the items donated were to show the frontline workers that their efforts are continually being recognized.

The items donated spanned a plethora of products provided by Foodtech Ghana Limited, producers of the popular Snappy Snacks for which Edem is a Brand Ambassador. It also included hand sanitizers among other things.

Edem also provided breakfast for some security personnel during the lockdown hinting that more of such kind gestures will be replicated in other areas.
