Drivers and commuters who ply the Kumasi-Techiman highway have expressed worry over the traffic situation on the road. They complain about the sluggish flow of traffic and the massive congestion due to the absence of traffic light.

The road users describe the situation as terrible and are therefore calling on government to provide traffic light to ease the congestion.

Speaking to the media, some drivers shared their frustration and some passengers said they get irritated by the situation and get off the commercial vehicles to continue their journey on foot.

Adjoining roads at Maakro, Kronum, Buoho, and surroundings bear the brunt of the situation.
