Dr. Taah-Amoako Philip  Takes Over As Ag. Medical  Superintendent At Tain  District Hospital

A successful handing over ceremony had been held on Thursday, 18th August, 2022, at the Tain District Hospital Conference Room to bid farewell for outgoing Medical Superintendent, Dr. Adinkra Kyeremeh Richard who had served the hospital for over five years and as well to welcome the newly posted medical Superintendent in the person of Dr. Taah-Amoako Philip.

A successful handing over ceremony had been held on Thursday, 18th August, 2022, at the Tain District Hospital Conference Room to bid farewell for outgoing Medical Superintendent, Dr. Adinkra Kyeremeh Richard who had served the hospital for over five years and as well to welcome the newly posted medical Superintendent in the person of Dr. Taah-Amoako Philip.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Hospital Advisory Board Chairman, Nana Effah Gyan, the Sanaahene of the Nsawkaw Traditional Council, Christian Council Chairman, Chief Imam, Nsawkaw, the District Director of Health Services - Tain District and other prominent dignitaries.
In  his farewell speech, as  an outgoing Medical Superintendent, Dr. Adinkra, elaborated on some achievements under his tenure which included the response to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis, the advancement with putting measures in place to vacat from the old infrastructure to the newly built one and many more.
Dr. Adinkra highlighted the need to strengthen the position which serves as the major channel of cooperation between the staffs and patients with good relations.
He thanked the staffs, all stakeholders and board members of the hospital for their inputs in helping to move the hospital forward over the five year period in his service in the district.
A citation was read and presented to him by the Hospital Welfare Association.
On his part at the handing over ceremony, the newly posted Acting Medical Superintendent, Dr. Taah-Amoako Philip, a Specialist in Surgery, also thanked all stakeholders for the opportunity given to him to serve the people of Tain District and outlined his vision for the hospital and promised to work efficiently and effectively to achieve the vision and mission of the hospital. 
He further expressed willingness to work with close collaboration with all the partners for the interest of the people of Tain and beyond.
The Advisory Board Chairman, Nana Effah Gyan also used the opportunity to welcome Dr. Taah-Amoako and all newly posted Core Management Members and assured them of his full support to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in their discharge of duties. 
He emphasized on the importance of human resource development and urge the management to embrace business oriented attitude for proper maintenance of the facility.
The outgoing and the incoming medical Superintendents exchanged documents at the handing over ceremony which cleared the change of guard in the facility.
