The National Chief Imam, Dr Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, over the weekend enskinned Adamu Hamid Ouedraogo as a chief of Moshie Yade Community of Ghana in the Ga West Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.
He is to work in conjunction with other leaders of the community to steer it affairs.
The enskinment became necessary following the demise of his grand father, Alhaji Naaba Killba of Yatenga Burkina Faso, who was then the Chief.
The colourful solemn ceremony which took place at Maamobi in the Greater Accra region brought together traditional rulers from different parts of the regions, Zongo chiefs, the Muslim community, government officials and police personnel across the country.
It coincided with the 40 days celebration of the demise of the late grand father.
Speaking at the occasion Dr Sharubutu entreated the new Chief to be firm and ensure orderliness and peace in the Muslim community across the region.
For him, the chief would have to work hard to tackle challenges facing the community and find solutions to address it.
He, however, advised all the Muslim communities in the country to support the newly installed Chief to change the face of the Moslem community.
Chief Adamu Hamid Ouedraogo on his part assured the Muslim community of his u flinching support through out his reign that he will use his office to project and promote development.
Touching on the development in the Municipality he stated that unemployment situation has been a major wrecking challenge facing his communicants and that he would work in tandem with stakeholders to resolve it.
"I will work in collaboration with the leaders of the country to promote the development of the Moshie Yade Community of Sapeiman , to make Sapeiman the model of political and traditional cooperation in the country" he stated
He appealed to all to support him throughout his reign as the leader of the community.
He urged the youth in the country to channel their resources into the agriculture sector in order to have economical independent.
