Dr Gedion Boako Pays for Party Cards for all the Party Members and Plling Station Executives in Tano North Constituency.

The Economic Advisor and Spokesperson to the Vice President, Dr Gideon Boako, has fully paid for the cost of the New Patriotic Party's new party cards for all party officials in the Tano North Constituency in the Ahafo region as the party rolls out its membership drive across the country.

The gesture which covers all the polling station executives in the constituency forms part of longstanding efforts by dr gideon boako to support the party and its executives as it gears towards a crucial victory in the 2024 general elections.

According to him, he believes that robust executives at the constituency and polling station level is integral to the adequate preparation by the partaay towards its objective of securing a resounding victory in the next elections and therefore has deemed it as a necessity to absorb the entire cost for the executives.

The governing new patriotic party (npp) is seeking to switch to a new membership cards with some security features following the national launch and roll-out of the cards in kumasi by president akufo-addo in october this year.

This is to make way for a new biometric or electronic membership card for easy identification, data keeping and proper management among others which is geared towards consolidating and increasing its membership base to boost its chances of retaining power in 2024.

The registration which is in two phases involves all the executives of the party from the polling station to the national level before the mass registration of the party’s supporters from all the constituencies in the country.

Dr Gideon Boako explains that one unique thing about the new membership drive is that the card lasts forever unless one ceases to be a member, members are also allowed to pay their dues and make donations through SMS or among others which all dues paid or donations are credited into the party’s account directly.

Speaking in an interview with the Constituency Chairman for Tano North, Mr Karikari Apau, he commended Dr Gideon Boako for his timely support and added that, this is not the first time the presidential advisor has extended such a gesture to the constituency adding that he has been very integral in the running of the constituency by providing logistics and other supports.

He recently supported the constituency to embark on sensitisation tour for the delegates, he has been very very supportive, we are happy and proud of him, the whole constituency is grateful for all his support" he said.

Mr Karikari Apau, therefore, urged the party’s members to be ambassadors of this important national exercise whilst they remain united with a joint front and common purpose ahead of the impending general elections.
