The District Chief Executive of Dormaa West,  Honourable Mary Ameyaa has disclosed that her lobbying skills brought the rice processing factory to the district.

According to her, there has been news circulating that she is having a poor lobbying skill and she has failed to undertake developmental projects in the district however, she debunked the news and claimed that she has been working diligently towards enhancing development in the Dormaa West District.

She said, with hard work and good lobbying skills, she was able to get the rice factory to Dormaa West district after it was balloted in Kumasi.

Honourable Mary Ameyaa is among the seven persons who have filed for the position of District Chief Executive in the Dormaa West District pending vetting and approval of the president, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo.

The remaining six (6) are Steven Adjei Ameyaw, Amankwaa Ernest, Amoabeng Emmanuel, Amidu Aliu Musah, Ata Amponsah-Frimpong and Oppong K. Francis who is the incumbent Presiding Member for the District’s Assembly.
