Dormaa West DCE Visits WASSCE Candidates At Nkrankwanta Senior High Technical School

The purpose of the visit was to motivate the candidates and also pick first-hand information as far as the WASSCE 2022 exams in the School were concerned.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Dormaa West District Assembly in Bono Region, Mr Francis Kwadwo Oppong on Monday September 5, 2022 paid a visit to the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) candidates of the Nkrankwanta Senior High Technical School.

The purpose of the visit was to motivate the candidates and also pick first-hand information as far as the WASSCE 2022 exams in the School were concerned. 
Addressing the candidates, Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong thanked the Teaching and the Non-teaching staff for nurturing and preparing the candidates for this year's examination. 
Mr Oppong however advised the candidates not to indulge in any form of examination malpractices. 

" You are aware that GES and WAEC have issued strong caution against examination practices so I advise you not to involve yourselves in any malpractices that will lead to cancellation and or withholding of your results.  I can assure you that if you excel in your exams, you will be admitted to any of the Universities and enjoy student loans without any guarantor. "

The Assistant Headmaster (Academic) Mr. Richard Kusi said since this year's exams commenced,  they have not encountered any trouble in the school.
 " The teachers have prepared the candidates well so we hope that they will come out with flying colors," he said.  

He also disclosed that a total of 383 students registered for this year's WASSCE in the school but 381 have since taken part.
Boys' Prefect for the school Kukrutey Andy said they were well rehearsed and they hope that they will excel in their exams.
