Dormaa West DCE  Assures Constituents Of Increasing  Access To Proper Health  Infrastructural Needs
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Dormaa West District Assembly in the Bono Region, Mr. Francis Kwadwo Oppong, has assured the constituents of more social and infrastructure development projects and programs under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's led government and his supervision.

The DCE further assured the residents of increasing access to the proper health infrastructural needs to improve the quality health care delivery system in the district.

“Our community relies basically on agriculture and there are a lot of developments going on in the district in such regard,” he said.
Mr. Oppong gave these assurances on Friday
May 6, 2022, when he and the assembly's engineer, Mr. Ofori Boateng Kwaku were at the Dormaa West District Hospital to inspect the site earmarked for the construction of an Accident and Emergency Department for the hospital.
It may be recalled that in April this year, the DCE vociferously made a statement on Voice FM (A radio Station) in Dormaa Ahenkro that his priority at the district hospital was to construct an emergency and accident department at the District Hospital.

Mr. Oppong disclosed to the District director of health and the Matron, Mr. Okyere Kwaku, and Mrs. Janet Takyiwaa that now that they have identified the siting of the project, work will commence soon.
He also inspected the 60-capacity pediatric wards that were started by Hon. Ali Maiga Halidu, (former MP)to see the progress of the work.
