Dormaa Nkrankwanta drivers charging unapproved fares - PM fumes
Transport fare effective from last Saturday, June 5 has been increased by 13% as a result of an increase in petroleum products.

The Presiding Member for Dormaa West District, Honourable Francis Oppong is raising concerns that drivers plying the Dormaa-Nkrankwanta road have been charging unapproved fare in compliance with the 13% increment in transport fare.
Transport fare effective from last Saturday, June 5 has been increased by 13% as a result of increase in petroleum products.
However, according to the Dormaa West Presiding Member, drivers within that area have been charging more than what they are supposed to.
He has therefore written to the District Chief Executive for the Area, Hon Mary Ameyaa and the Assembly as well as the GPRTU in the area to as a matter of urgency address the issue by releasing approved fares.
