The Chairman of Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU) Atebubu branch who is also the Vice-Chairman of Bono East of the union, Mr. Emmanuel Kwame Acheampong has sent a warning to the owners of Troski known popularly as Pragia to stay away from giving it to the under-aged people especially those who are still in JHS.

According to him, they do not have any knowledge and therefore normally cause accidents on our roads.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Soiree News 24 Reporter, King George at a meeting with Trotsky owners and ridders he advised that owners should be careful on people they give their assets to.

He said the Troski tricycle owners should understand the dangers involved in giving out the cycles to JHS students.

He added that due to their inexperience in ridding they create most of the road accidents.

The chairman on the other hand advised the owners to form an association and that they would be given Special identification numbers in order to detect Pragia tricycles which are being used to commit crimes.

Ibrahim Zakari who is the Chairman of the Pragia Association in a dialogue with the portal however commended the measures put in place by the GPRTU executives.

Consequently, the Ghana private road transport union (GPRTU ) management in Bono East will soon impose a law on negligence riding.

Malefactors would be arrested and arranged before the court for a fine or punishment.
