Don't Deprive the Country of its Peace - Mr Kwamena Duncan to Mahama
The government will not allow Mr Mahama and the NDC to “deprive this country of its peace.”

The Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan, has criticized former President John Dramani Mahama for refusing to accept the 2020 presidential election results.
According to the Central Regional Minister, the conduct of Mr Mahama is compromising the peace in Ghana.
“You [Mahama] are subjecting the people of this country to mental torture,” he said on Accra-based Peace FM.

He also accused the former President of being responsible for the nationwide demonstrations by its members.
That notwithstanding, Mr Duncan said the government will not allow Mr Mahama and the NDC to “deprive this country of its peace.”
The former President has refused to accept the outcome of the 2020 elections and has therefore called for an independent forensic audit of the results.
