Former President John Dramani Mahama has said Government officials must not demonize the Fix the country movement because it is not an issue of just the New Patriotic Party but all parties in Ghana.

He said this when speaking to the chiefs and people of the Upper West Region on Tuesday, August 17 as part of his 'thank-you tour' after the 2020 elections.

Mr Mahama who was the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in last year’s polls noted that the youth need employment to enable them to keep body and soul together hence their call for the system to be fixed.

Former President John Dramani Mahama also told President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that he has set bad precedence following the closure of some radio stations that delayed in renewing their license.

Touching on the e- blocks, Former President John Dramani Mahama has chastised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for abandoning the e-classroom blocks that he started before leaving office in 2016.

He said the failure to complete the projects smacks of waste of the taxpayers’ money.
