Donald Duke Dumps SDP, Defects To PDP
Donald Duke has joined the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Former presidential candidate, Donald Duke has defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Bukola Saraki, a former Senate president made this known on his Facebook page as he welcomed the former governor into the opposition party.
Saraki while posting a picture receiving Donald Duke wrote: “Yesterday in Calabar, alongside the Chairman of our great party, Prince Uche Secondus, and other party leaders.
''It was an absolute pleasure to receive my dear friend, former Governor Donald Duke, back into the Peoples Democratic Party!”
Duke was in the PDP until 2018 when he left for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) where he emerged as the presidential candidate for the 2019 elections.
He was a two-term governor of Cross River between 1999 and 2007.
Meanwhile, the latest development follows the defection of Governor Ben Ayade to the All Progressives Congress.
