Foster Romanus has revealed his fondest memories of the late DJ Advicer.

The comic actor and host of the Late Nite Celebrity Show (LNCS) on eTV Ghana eulogised his friend, the departed disc jockey and former presenter of Happy FM’s Ayekoo After-Drive, DJ Advicer.

According to him, he first met DJ Advicer around 2010-2011 as a work colleague in the Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company (GMABC).

“We would have meetings together and you would see the vibrancy in how he works. He’s never tired until the job is done and he always had fresh ideas. How can we maximize this, let’s do this and that, and that’s how my friendship started with him”, he recalled.

In their journey, Foster Romanus noted that they became such good friends that he even made the official Master of Ceremony (MC) at his wedding.

DJ Advicer was confirmed dead by the Management of Global Media Alliance Group (GMA, Happy FM, YFM & eTV Ghana).

It announced that the veteran Disc Jockey, Isaac De-Graft Danquah, popularly known as DJ Advicer died after a short illness on Wednesday 3rd March 2021.

DJ Advicer, while alive made it his sole purpose to put the spotlight on the relatively unknown and upcoming musicians in the country.

He was the host of Happy FM'sAyekoo After Drive’, weekdays from 6 PM – 9 PM.

In 2019, DJ Advicer beat DJ Mic Smith, DJ Gang, DJ Milzy, DJ Ikon, and Mr. Shark to win Best Music Promoter of the Year at the Ghana DJs Awards.

He also picked up the award for the Best Afrobeat/HipLife DJ of the Year on the night. 

Hearing the news of his demise, Foster Romanus was one of the many loved ones of DJ Advicer who could neither hide his pain nor his tears.
